Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FAYNee ("the Service"). By creating an account or using FAYNee, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimers. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use FAYNee

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under the law that applies to you. By registering, you confirm the information you provide — name, email, phone, address details — is accurate, and you'll keep it up to date.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Each account should belong to one real person or business — don't register on someone else's behalf without their permission.
  • You may not create or link a customer account and a provider account to bid on and accept your own jobs. We run automated checks for this at bid time, and a match will block the bid — this exists to keep ratings and the bidding process meaningful for everyone else on the platform.
  • We may suspend or block an account that violates these Terms, receives credible reports of misconduct, or is used for fraud or abuse.

3. Posting a job (customers)

  • Describe the work honestly and completely — it's how providers decide whether and how much to bid.
  • Once you accept a bid, you have 72 hours of bidding activity before the window resets — see the in-app status of your job for the exact timing.
  • Sharing your service address happens only after you accept a bid, through the work-order details you provide.
  • If the work isn't completed to your satisfaction by the provider you accepted, you can flag it and the job reopens for other bids — leave honest feedback and rating so it's useful to other customers and fair to the provider.
  • You're responsible for arranging and making payment directly with the provider you choose — see our Disclaimers.

4. Bidding and providing a service (providers)

  • Only bid on jobs you're genuinely able and qualified to do, in a category and area you've registered for.
  • Quote honestly — the amount you bid is what the customer sees and decides on.
  • If you accept a job and can't make it, decline or communicate promptly rather than leaving the customer waiting — repeated no-shows affect your account standing.
  • Keep your business details (name, categories, contact info, description) accurate — customers rely on them to decide who to hire.
  • You're an independent provider, not an employee or agent of FAYNee — see our Disclaimers for what that means.

5. Chat, photos, and content

  • In-app chat is for discussing the job before and after a bid — please keep it on-topic and respectful.
  • Every photo you upload is automatically screened before it's shown to anyone; content that's sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate will be rejected.
  • Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • You keep ownership of the photos and text you post; by posting them, you give FAYNee permission to display them on the Service for the purpose they were posted for.
  • We may remove content, or restrict an account, that violates these Terms.

6. Ratings and reports

Ratings should reflect your genuine experience of a specific job — not a grudge, a favour, or anything unrelated to the work itself. Manipulating ratings, including through a linked account, is a violation of these Terms. If a provider's conduct was seriously inappropriate, you can also file a report for review, separate from a star rating.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use FAYNee for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or intended to harm another user.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Attempt to bypass account, category, or area restrictions.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user.
  • Upload malicious code, scrape the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
  • Create multiple accounts to evade a block, manipulate ratings, or bid on your own jobs.

8. Fees

FAYNee is currently free to use for both customers and providers. We may introduce fees or paid features (for example, a premium provider tier) in the future — if we do, we'll make the pricing clear before you're charged anything.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using FAYNee at any time; to request deletion of your account and data, contact us at arulraj2505@gmail.com (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the issue, and a blocked provider can contact us to request review.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. FAYNee is a platform connecting customers and independent service providers, is not a party to the work or payment arranged between them, and — to the fullest extent permitted by law — isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from a job, transaction, or interaction between users. Full detail is in our Disclaimers, which form part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as FAYNee changes. If we make a material change, we'll let you know in-app where appropriate. Continuing to use FAYNee after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
